Featuring a brand new DIGIC 5+ ultra fast digital image processor which is about 17 times faster than DIGIC 4 with enhanced algorithm, sharp and clear images can be captured with impressive noise control - noise reduction is 2-stop better than its predecessor under high sensitivity settings. DIGIC 5+ supports 14-bit analog-to-digital conversion processing to retain fine image details and ensure better tonal gradation for smoother and natural colors. With its ultra-fast image processing power, EOS 5D Mark III allows more creative image expressions with the incorporation of a host of advanced features including a built-in HDR (High Dynamic Range) Mode first introduced in EOS cameras and Multiple Exposures shooting.

With the new CMOS sensor and DIGIC 5+ digital image processor, standard ISO setting for EOS 5D Mark III now ranges from ISO 100 to ISO 25600 and is expandable to ISO 102400. This ensures superior image quality even under different lighting environment.
